Aim and Scope

The goal of this workshop is to provide a forum for intensive discussions about the state-of-the-art in Brownian Dynamics simulations of biological macromolecules and related methodologies. Particular attention will be paid to the theoretical description of concentrated media, simulations in cell-like environments and in-vivo measurements of diffusion. Participants will include theoreticians and experimentalists. Speakers will be encouraged to present work in progress and discuss speculative ideas.

For information on the first BDBDB, see: http://projects.eml.org/mcm/BDBDB/index.html

Dates

October 11-13, 2010.

Location

The meeting will take place at the Villa Bosch, Heidelberg and, via video-conferencing, at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). There will be live video-conferencing sessions each evening (Heidelberg)/morning (San Diego).
